Born in the UK to a five generation family of GPs, Patch moved to New Zealand in 1982.  A family man, with four grown-up boys, Patch loves to sail, and lives near the coast with his wife.

Patch started out as a medical officer and anaesthetist at Taumarunui Hospital.  Following 20 years in his own practice in Nelson, he has spent the last decade in Auckland, initially working with accident and medical clinics and latterly as a medical officer for a developing specialist residential care practice.

Patch has a special interest in aged care and mental health.  He is passionate about creating easily accessible health care for everyone, and is excited to be able to offer this through HouseCall.

Navya was born in India and moved to New Zealand from the Middle East when she was ten years old.  Navya speaks Telugu and a little Hindi.  In her spare time, she enjoys reading, hiking and spending time with friends and family.

Navya graduated from the University of Auckland in 2012 and is currently working towards her GP Fellowship – she has experience in both general practice and urgent care.  

Navya has a particular interest in women's and paediatric health, and welcomes the opportunity to provide care for her patients through HouseCall, with the convenience of online health care.

Amira has been practicing family medicine for 20 years. She graduated from Otago University in 1997, and discovered early on that she was passionate about General Practice as a career.

She has worked as GP in central Auckland, Kerikeri and on the beautiful Hibiscus Coast. Amira considers it a great privilege to help people on their health journey, and finds that being a good listener, as well as building a trusting relationship are key to understanding and meeting peoples’ needs. She has a special interest in children’s health, women’s health, caring for the elderly and palliative care. In addition to being a GP, Amira has also been a part-time Hospice doctor for 10 years.

Amira is married and has four teenage children. She loves walking her dog on the beautiful beaches near her home, and enjoys helping out when there is a need in the community.

Providing online healthcare that people can access easily and conveniently is an exciting new opportunity. Amira is pleased be providing quality health care through HouseCall in this new way.
